Inspiration for my magazine advert

For my magazine advertisement I will also be using Photoshop and DiscLabel . As i have researched, I want to create a simple magazine advertisement. Album adverts can be in most music magazine such as NME, Kerrang, Smash Hits, Uncut, Q and Mix mag, depending on the genre of the music. Here's a variety of different types of advertisement's, shown below. I think that as long as the advertisement is eye catching and it has the band title and theme, it should work well, especially when competing in market like this, it's important to stand out. So i will be creating a simple poster design. 



Firstly, the Stone Roses, advert has the Just the band logo, witch is in black that stands out on the white background, and the image of a lemon cut in half, this in my opinion is a great example of a promotional advert, as it's promoting the band.

This has the typical indie theme. The band member's are Representative, of indie styled clothe's

Even tho this Album magazine release isn't in my genre, I think that the use of the black and white background, with the white writing, such as Out Now and the name of the Artist, witch is a typical convention, stand's out. The "......Wants to help you"  is asking the audience a rhetorical question, witch I think work's well. A think the use of the white writing is one element I'm going to incorporate into my advert.
